Now I have 17". If I change to 19", the speedometer will not show correctly. How to fix that?

Also, do I need to buy a new spare tire too if I buy a whole set of 4?

it depend on tire size,it can adversly affect your speedo and show either to fast or to slow.it can be tricky to get the right size so the diamater is the same as the oem wheels.

as far as spare, depend if u buy a set of 5 rims.

As Dawp said it depends on the tire size. If you have a later model Solara with 235/50-17's you'd need a 225/40-19 to keep within +/- .04 in. of original tire diameter.

Actually if you have a Gen 2 (04-05) Solara with 17" wheels, your stock tire is a 215/55-17, so to minimize speedo error with a 19" wheel use a 235/40-19 tire (gives you only a -0.3% speedo error).
