I didn't try it on mine...because it was already in km.
What they you in the owner manual ?
It will be very easy to see the difference if it changes.

You might want to try doing this again, but pay close attention to the odometer while doing it. If it adds almost half, (e.g. if you have 1000 miles, you'll have 1609 KM), then you might have changed it. If not, it would be staying in miles. I remember you buying a Solara and exporting it to Ukraine, but did you buy it from USA or Canada? If you wanted KM from the get-go, it would've been better to buy it from them.

When you press HH:MM buttons simultaneously, that will change the following:

1. Consumption from MPG to L/100km - both average and instantaneous
2. Driving range from miles to km.
3. Temperature from degrees farenheit to Celsius

As you may have noticed, all those changes happen on the multi-information display, none on the main panel.

If your car was made for US market, your odometer and two trip meters are and always will be in miles. If your car was made for Canadian market the odometer and trip meters will be in kilometers. This does not change.
