Replacing fog lamps? help!!

Hi all

I was just wondering how much of a pain is it to replace the bulbs in the fog lights. According to the owners manual you should see the dealer. I searched the forums and the net for over an hour for the answer....help! :o

Just unbolt the splash guard under the car and you should be able to access them.

on the gen1's it was relatively simple as well. are you replacing the oem bulbs with another oem bulb or upgrading them?

The bulbs in there now are the blue tinted ones, I think they might be a cheap set because when I got the car the fuse had burned out. I'm going to get a set of OEM type bulbs before I replace the fuse, I'd hate to replace the fuse and have it burn out again as soon as I turn the lights on.

I took kingkakyles advice and reached them through the lower grille opening. The drivers side was easy, getting to the passenger side was a bit more tricky. When I removed them I realized that they were a pair of 9005's and not the 9145's that are listed, which makes me wonder if that is why the fuse was blown. Popped the new bulbs in, put the new fuse in (finding the low-profile mini fuses was a PITA, had to go to 3 stores before finding them!) and now I'm good to go.

Good to hear it was just the bulbs that popped the fuse.
