Is there really no possible way for do-it-yourself programming of the Tranponder Key (not the remote door opener) for the 2nd Gen Solara / 2002-2006 Camry?

... i find it a bit shocking.

This link shows how to program the keyless entry on a 99 and up solara, and how to program the transponder key for the 1st-1.5 gen.

It makes reference to a security light which does not exist in 2nd gen solaras and a method which does not work.
