I was wondering the same thing 8)

I always put premium in my car, and honestly notice the difference. It idles smoother, and pulls slightly harder and smoother.

I wanna know what racing level octane fuel will do 8)

im not sure... If it dosent say octane booster i wouldnt assume that it is. I saw K-Mart has a bottle of octane booster for like 5 bucks, im gonna try it out soon and ill let you know. but im gonna wait till im using my car for non-school driving, as the line to park at my school goes all the way to my neighborhood, so i never really get to let my car open during the week unless ive got work.

this is the info on the prestone one

A high level of state-of-the-art synthetic detergent and carrier technology provides one tank fuel injector cleanup that lasts for up to 3,000 miles.

0 to 60 Octant Booster delivers the best octane enhancement technology, providing up to 5 points of octane boost.  In regular unleaded gasoline, one point is equal to 0.1 Octane number [(R+M)/2].  Higher octane levels help restore power and acceleration loss when the engine timing is retarded under knock conditions.

So does that mean it would make 98 octane to 98.5? dosent seem worth it...

^x2 and racing fuel is also worthless unless boosted or spraying (...an application which would benefit from it). See the previous gen threads concerning octane.

SeaFoam is your friend! All octane booster does is for example add the to the octane rating. 98 +5 makes it 103 octane rating. Not worth it for our cars. Stick with the fuel cleaning stuff. I use Seafoam every time I get my oil change which is between 4-5k intervals.
