Transmission Fluid Dip Stick

Hey here's another question, Just got my car out of Service to Toyota, and didn't get my transmission serviced, but will do it soon, but anyway, I checked it just to look at it and the end of the dip-stick was crimped, Is anyone's elses crimped at the end? Ive had this car for 6 yrs and I can't remember that? Mabey the mechanics did that for some reason.

im pretty sure i have 2 dip sticks
i think the tranny one is orange

I was just reading an article where some of the higher end cars like Porsche have stopped putting engine oil dipsticks on their engines for a few years now and instead rely on a microprocessor to check it
