Removing the jack from the trunk?

Had the car for 2 years, never used the jack (inspected it when bought froma Toyota dealer, looks clean and normal).
Read the owner's manual - the method described ("turn this to release") doesn't work because the jack has no such part. There's no release, lever, sticker, handle, screw - nothing.

Maybe it's not the correct jack?

if i remember correctly, you use that tire iron to turn a part to release the jack
because it is slightly expanded to hold it in place, you have to "lower" the jack to loosen it
