will rear bumper from 07 fit 04?? i know 2.5 gen have reverse lights in the bumper. other than that any other changes??

does anybody know what the differences are between 2 and 2.5 gen?? im wondering if only difference between the two bumpers are reverse lights but shape looks the same, but then again even 1 inch will make a difference. any help appreciated

They should fit with no problem the shape of the rear is similar where they meet. I'm assuming the wiring may be a little different at the rear due to the reverse lights being seperate from the taillights itself. But, I don't have much info since I own a Gen 1.

This is one of those threads that's hard to answer being that I don't remember anybody actually doing this. As a Gen 2 owner my guess-stimate is that the seams should fit but Lord knows what Toyota did to the brackets underneath. If this swap also involved stock Sport ground effects I would think the whole rear setup would be shot to hell aesthetically.

yeah I'd understand if you were putting a gen2 bumper on a gen2.5. those new bumpers are way ugly!

i need to replace the rear bumper and found a good deal but it was 07 but yes its ugly and not going on
