The PDF is an easy read to follow if you got the tools and you want to do it yourself. (It's kinda odd that the manual refuses to use the word "strut" not even once and refers to them as "shock absorbers".) Yesterday I just noticed my passenger-front strut is shot to hell (clunk, clunk, clunk) so I'm gonna get both fronts replaced. Although it looks easy I just don't have the tools or attention span to do it myself so I got me bodyshop bud doing it for me. I gotta say, I didn't know how stiff the springs were on the Sport trims until that strut crapped out-they don't allow the car to float like a Caddy even without the strut. However, I do notice the bad strut when I take corners or accelerate from a light and it is driving me absolutely frikken nuts--I gotta get this fixed pronto!

Just an FYI, I'm going with KYB struts and their marketing department, for whatever reason, has changed the color and name from the silver "GR-2" to black "Excel-G". Same shock, just different name and color....not sure about any changes in part number.

I need to replace my front struts as well. I am interested in the manual if it is still available.
