'07 Solara SLE Conv tire size

I've searched this topic on this forum and couldn't quite come up with any answer so here goes:

Stock tire size is 215-55-R17.

Will a slightly wider tire, 225-55-R17's fit without rubbing, even at the extreme locked steering point?
Anybody ever try this?
