New 2004 and UP solara owners... what did you pay?

Best price for on an '04 contest!

Well I got my sreaming red SE V6 in late Feb from Modesto Toyota for $22,500 out the door. I did Cars Direct .com and had he all the local dealers bidding on my business. It was fun watching them try to squeeze in the lowest price. I actually got a lower bid from Tracey Toyota, but the car wasn't in stock, and I didn't want to wait a week and a half for it to come in. I encourage everyone to use this method or go bargain with the fleet dealer. Only use the salespeole for a test drive.
Oh Lord.. won't you buy me a Solara Sport...

V6 SLE w/spoiler (no traction, curtain airbags)

Paid $23,977 with the ad from toyotaoforlando.com.. which is no longer there for the V6 SLE. They have SEs for $16,977 with the ad, if you on the lot without the ad the price on the windshield is $16,995.. save a few bucks, hehe.

JEJE, it's funny guys, seeing what you paid for your cars, Do you want to know how much I paid for mine?

I paid for my SLE Coupe 04, $32,000 back in November , it was stolen when I got my money from the Insurance, I went to buy another one and saw the Convertible, I picked one SLE White Pearl with Black top, MSRP here is $36,995. Standard features in the SLE, no Traction or Navigation System.

You do the math, the difference is just a Tax that my beloved Government applies to all cars, and that's not all, it increases according to the price of the car, so Can you imagine what is the cost of the SC 430 here, jeje, just add to your price around $13,000 for that taxes. But that's not all, once you get it, then your car just worth what the Black Book says it worth, Funny isn't it?

Ahh, I forgot something, what about parts?, Hey we must order from the same dealer or shops than you, only difference is that our price is the same than yours, PLUS, most of the time UPS 2nd day air, that to give you an example is an average of $55 everytime we order something, like the Strut Bar, Sway Bars, Springs, etc...

Wow erasat, that really stinks. I got basically the same model you have plus a couple of the packages. The MSRP was about $31,300 (including shipping) and I got the dealer to drop $1,400 off the price. True, it was the only dealer out of 7 who was willing to negotiate on the price, but when I look at the $37,000 price you got there ... OUCH ! Are those American Dollars ?

I'm curious, is anybody getting any deals on the convertibles, especially the SLE models ? As I said, out of 7 dealers only one was willing to negotiate. Actually there was another one who initially said he would deal, but then backed out.

$32,858 for the Convertible SLE V6, no Navi -

pricey I know - but, i got the car in 4 days instead of the 3 month wait that I was told I would have - I probably would have paid similar for a car w/ Navi, 3 months down the line.

I got right @ 10% off of MSRP on my V6 SLE and a free spoiler. I had some negative equity on my trade and they ate it too so I was very happy - especially since they had to get the car from another dealer. Atlanta is a big market, but there weren't 10 V6 SLEs for sale in the whole city that were on the lot. There were about 13 or so that were coming into Atlanta in the next month. You can always find someone that got a better deal, but overall I'm very pleased with the price I paid.
