And I guess security and audio is only option that came with it. Everything else is standard right?
paid $16488. Not a bad deal is it? Compared to tC or Altima I was thinking about getting.

'04 or '05? MT or AT?

When I bought my 2004 Lunar Mist Metallic in October of 2004, I paid 26,400 for the car. Its an SLE V6 with nav, side airbags, leather, sunroof, xm radio and rustproofing. On top of the 26,400 was the extended warranty that I had added on for an extra chunk of money. I think I got a decent price, but who knows. I'm not happy with the dealership that I bought it from though...

I picked out my company car last June.

$26,000 even including tax, title etc.... ($26K is our limit for spending on a car of our choice.)

Moonroof, Floor mats and trunk mat
Auto Dim rearview mirror with compass
JBL 6 disc in-dash.

Here's the best part ... TRD springs including the installation and alignment. (That took some negotiation)

BTW I bought my '04 for 17k even, I thought that was pretty fair considering they added 18in wheels and window tint, the were asking a smidge under 23k for it. I was pretty stoked cause they wanted to sell me a corolla CE for almost the same price, I think it was an '05 tho... I would drive this over a corolla any day, I think I'd drive this over a celica, it's so smooth and quiet and the 5 speed makes it feel so much more sporty :D :D :D :D I love my car so much... I could rant on and on about all the good stuff about it... My monthly payments are 477 for 60 mos I got lo jack, gap, and a 100k warranty, my interest rate is super high, but I am a credit criminal (LOL not really, but my credit's pretty bad) so hopefully this will boost my credit score...

New Purchase of Solara SLE V6 Coupe

Postby dsmsolutions » Fri Apr 22, 2005 1:48 pm

This past week I picked up a new 05 Solara V6 Coupe with Navigation, Stability Control, Spoiler, XM Radio Activated ... actually, if it was an option I got it. MSRP $30,680.

Using Consumer Reports Car Buying Guide, I spent over two weeks negotiating with the dealer here in Texas. Each time he said he could go no lower I'd thank him for his time and encouraged him to call if he should change his mind.

I finally got the price down to $26,900 before the $500 rebate. What may also have help with getting the price below invoice is that that Trucks are the biggest seller in Texas, :D not coupes.

How much can I expect to pay for a 2005 Solara 4 cylinder base model coupe thats automatic or stick? in southern california (los angeles, 626,310,562,714,area,etc) by the end of the year... so Fall 2005.

I heard the best month to buy a car is December and buying the year earlier model because thats when they want to get rid of their stock old models thus prices will drop? so how much can I expect to pay then?

i was going to get scion tC but after seeing that the solara gets pretty much exactly the same gas mileage, the solara 4banger seemed much more luxurious...

what I paid

Postby blonddude » Sat May 07, 2005 12:13 am

Hi All,

I just got a 2006 SLE Convertible with nav & trac for $30, 920 via Autoland and my credit union on Wednesday. The car came from Lancaster Toyota.

I had spent more than a month trying to work out a deal over the net with various dealers and finally went with Autoland. They worked hard for me and did all the legwork.

This board was a great resource and helped me make the decision to get my first Toyata-Thanks! :)
