brake rotors question

Postby Projex0 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 12:57 am

i got my brakes resurfaced by a friend that works at a honda dealership we were able to get the fronts turned and new pads, but the rears we wern't able to resruface them because the machine wasn't able to get reach the rotors(weird) so i just told him to just pad slap the new pads on to the rears. my question is will i be alright to leave the rears unturned untill the next time i have to do a brake job?

I don't see why it would be a huge problem. Majority of the braking is done up front, but you may have some uneven wear later on down the road

Just uneven wear on the pads caused by surface imperfections of the unturned rotors in the rear. Not a big deal.
