Is there a speed limiter on a V6? Does anybody know what is the top speed?

Hopefully no one knows it yet because you shouldn't be going that fast before you break it in... I guess some may already have 1,000 miles (if they drive like me =x )

The absolute top speed allowed by the government is 155 I think, so expect 155 at absolute max... but I think Toyota puts it in at like 130 or 140 unless it was the engine that couldn't go past it w/ the old engine

tires

The tires on my SLE are V-rated (Bridgestone Turanza EL42), so I would not expect anything higher than 140 mph

I had my SE-V6 up to 120mph the other day. I have 4100 miles on it. It kind of felt like it hit a wall. Not sure if it was a fuel shutoff. Had to slow down anyway, the fiance was asking me to slow down. Funny at 110 she was reading a book for five miles.
Hopefully soon I will be able to drop the hammer to see what she will do
.

I will let you all know
