First oil change is scheduled for 5000 miles. Solara comes with synthetic from the factory. Thank them for saving you the money.

That's the first I heard that Synthetic oil comes from the factory. I don't recall seeing that in the manual or anyone at Toyota telling me this. Are you sure this is so and which synthetic? Mobil 1?

if your a male get your oil changed as indidicated in your regular schedualed maintenance folder / manual

if your female wait till the warning light comes on hehehe

I work as a service tech at a toyota dealer.........1000mi for first LOF. I was never told about the synthetic oil?
