4 cylinder performance question

4 cylinder performance question

Postby masuda_72 » Wed Jun 30, 2004 12:08 pm

Hello all,

I am not a racer or anything, I am just curious about the performance of my 2004 Solara, 4 cylinder, 5spd manual transmission, no mods. I have looked all over the net and checked most car magazines. Most list 0-60 times for the V6 (between 6.8 and 7.2 sec), but have been unable to find any with 0-60 times for the 4 cylinder manual. Anyone know what kind of 0-60 time I should expect. By the way I love my new car. I had a 1999 Solara that I totalled in 2002. I ended up getting a Tundra, but when I saw the 2004 I fell in love. What a great car, and what a great website!!

Welcome.

I cannot give you any insight to your question, but I will say that going from a V6, this is slow!
