Here is the dyno sheet:

I had mine dyno'd at back in June 2005:

WHP @ best 252.1 average 249.3 @111mph /6200rpm
WTQ @ best 227.9 average 226.4 @70mph /3897rpm

This is also posted on my CarDomain sight listed on the SIG below.

I wouldn't upgrade your pulley without doing basic fuel upgrades. As mentioned tons of times before (I know, the search function leads you on for hours), you should get Jims Fuel Rail upgrade (at a minimum) and I'd highly recommend getting the 190LPH Walbro fuel pump and 310cc injectors. The engine isn't built for higher boost applications than just the basic 4psi at the stock level, so if you try to upgrade your pulley without upgrading your fuel, you'll screw up your engine, like others have done.

(Check out my "www" for dyno results).

nice numbers! wow, if you're seeing numbers like that then the manuals must be close to 240 whp. s/c is starting to sound tempting

Thanks for the info, I've been away for a while and I see that lots of things have changed. How or where would I go to get Jim's fuel system upgrade, and where did you guys buy the pump and injectors?
Thanks for any info.

-Davor

Davor,

Jim's fuel rail upgrade, read this thread:
http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=21630&highlight=jim

The 190LPH fuel pump you can get from URD for $90 (just do a search on the internet "URD")

Injectors, you'll have to call RC Engineering and tell them the engine you have. 318cc or 310cc will do fine. I know they have 370cc, but that's probably too much.

**Also, once you upgrade your pulley and slap on all those fuel upgrades, your going to need to put in premium gas all the time, no more regular**

^^^ Yep I totally agree. :D

To add to list, you'll also need a Air Fuel Adjuster such as the Apexi Super AFCII or something of that nature.

I have been using Premium fuel ever since I had the car and I can swear that it feels like it pings at times... but I don't know.

P.S. This is my new user name, my old one (camry_y2k) is inactive suddenly for whatever reason...

Thanks for your help.

I do have the SAFC but it is not tuned. I will have to do it once all these fuel system / pulley upgrades are done.

P.S. What is a good shop here in Southern Cali that has dyno tuned Solaras previously?

Thanks for the info.

Davor- AS Josh the crazy dancer above alluded to...the rc injectors. Try and hit up trd4life to see if he has access to any more non-turbo Supra injectors, they are more plug and play and seat better in the head.

To reiterate- Definites are (if you go to 5.5)
93 octane
Safc tuned
injector upgrade
Jims
fuel pump
a high flow cat & catback would help get the heat away from the motor and out the back door faster. Our valve train and head were not designed to flow exhaust! Heat and lack of fuel is the enemy always remember that! One of the masters of this forum has just move onto bigger things....Joeb!! Do a search on his name and read as much of his stuff as possible, he is a wealth of knowledge and posted A LOT of stuff here.

Have fun and take every precaution to prolong the life of your motor

Peace
