I know a couple of us who have ran this setup. At 4psi it was a great combo. As you know, once I went to 6psi I had to ditch the cp-e in order to run my safc2. However, if you stuck with cp-e's MAFci program you can do both. It's totally a matter of preference, but I like to have the option of controlling my fuel trims on the fly as opposed to hooking up a laptop.

Even though I'll now be running a CAI, I'd still go back to the cp-e if I could use it with my safc2. I tried to make both work together, but it's just not practical.

If you're going to install your supercharger make sure everything in your car is in tip top shape. Since putting in the charger I had to change the plugs and wires, knock sensor, and still need to add the SAFC for tuning purposes. Toyota says that its bolt on and everything will work fine but for optimal output of power from the charger you're going to want to get an AFC. My 2 cents

From my experience you will run fine with the toyota EBC and the 4 psi setup. I dynoed the car with this setup, as well as with a catback and the car took care of the AFR just fine. Could have possibly netted some TINY gains from tuning at that point, but it really isnt necessary at all until you run a smaller pulley.

akora12 is spot on with what he said as well.

cartang, what is the offset of the enkie's you're running and do you have any rubbing issues with running 235/45R17s?

I don't recommend those....rubbing is a definite possibility. 225/45/17 is the way to go. I had those on my car at one time..no problems, plus they are close to STOCK overall diameter. The 235's are MUCH larger in that respect as well.

I have these rims x 9 years now ,always with 235 /45/17 rear fender shaved , My car is lowered . I put one time 225/45/17 fender gap didnt look good, . You can check pictures of them . The post was " my two horses".

Actually a 235/45R17 is closer to stock overall diameter but the rubbing could be an issue. Cartang, did you just roll the rear fenders? Modify the front ones at all?
