It's the SECTION WIDTH that's the issue here:

Stock Tire - 205/65R15 Section Width: 8.07 in 205 mm
235/45R17 Section Width: 9.25 in 235 mm
225/45R17 Section Width: 8.85 in 225 mm

right, just stating overall circumference is closer with the 235/45R17 as opposed to a 225/45R17. Check it out for yourself

TM5M K TOY 235/45/17 is closest to the stock diameter than 225/45/17, there are wider, lesser fender gap , looks better. They will rubber the rear fender with adult persons in the back seat, . The rear fenders were shaved in a body shop , front tires non rubber , no problem.
99SolaraSE , My Cp-e is non tunable , I dont know if I can tune up the car any sugestions.
I will add the OBX near to Father's day. :D
