i got a few questions regarding this experimental run.

I love the entire setup, however ...the auto tranny would eat up a lot of power...and assuming it is built auto, it would not reflect the true potential of the MP90 on a 5 speed, so don't be surprised the tranny might eat away 25% of the power.

MP90 is much bigger....theoretically it should generate more power at the same psi, so tuning is even more crucial, I'm wondering what kind of tuning would be done to the car after the install..cuz just simpling bolting it on and running it would be just wrong!!..and don't tell me it's done with an SAFC..cuz the MP90 deserves a lot better treatement than that!

can't wait for the results, big props to gabe

im tuned, im running 8psi now, meth injected, and i top out at 10psi at high rpm's , so i think my tuner should be able set it up, as for hp loss, im at 291 rite now with an auto, so we should get a good idea of the #'s.................... :drinking:

With the proper fuel mods, an SAFC will handle the tuning just fine. There's obviously much better gains that could had through tuning with something that can adjust timing, but an air/fuel controler will work.

making final tweaks to manifold, still no nose drive. I can 100% confirm that a hood scoop around 1.75" is going to be required to clear the s/c, i originally thought i was going to be able to tuck it enough for the hood to close but that is now out the door.
