in another post mike aka mole said said that roots type superchargers are unable to utilize intercoolers, but i've been researching and they say that boost of 6psi or more on a roots supercharger should use an intercooler application? im not trying to say that mike is wrong im just trying to get the facts straight for my own knowledge. is it that no one will make it or it doesnt work for the type of supercharger we have? any information provided would be greatly apprecitated. thanks in advance*!

To put it simply, I guess it depends how much you like the solara platform. With the amount of modification and money to make the solara/1mz intercooled, it would be more cost effective starting off with a different platform.

the closest approach to an intercooler is a filtercharger.

basically a cai. except the filter mimics a fin type ic.

it may be easier to just use a cai.
