alright i wanna get the S/C and i dont know where. i called up the dealer and he told me that its gonna cost 3600 for the unit itself, and then 9 bills for install. so by the dealer its gonna cost me $4,500 to buy and install it. is this how much money you guys pored into your car to get this thing? is there anyway to get this unit for a cheaper price? i also have the s-afcII do i have to take it out in order to install the s/c? any help would be really appreciated guys. i wanna install this thing and its gonna cost me over 2 months worth of work to afford it. so any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

You can get the TRD supercharger online for $1,000 less. My dealer gave me a price of $600 for installation, complete. Those guys are reaming you.

I've bought things from toyotaparts4u.com (RSB), and from toyotaterritory.com (Body kit). Both were good experiences. These are Toyota Dealer Parts Departments that also sell on the web.

Also, SolaraGuy screen name pro956 has a new in the box manual tranny Solara SC kit for sale at a really good price. I was going to buy it from him but another expense came up so I have to wait.
