cleaning the ik22?

cleaning the ik22?

if you're not supposed to regap the iridium plugs, since it might damage the plating, how do you clean all the gunk off of a used one?

if it's already used, is it ok to regap? and scrape off the gunk with a wire brush? or is there a solvent or something?

thanks,
jerold

denso iridium has very short life span. mine usually last less then 20000 miles. just buy a new one, or you can buy Denso one for cheaper price

EDIT: I mean NGK one is cheaper!!!

urd 7 psi, fuel upgrade, jim's heads, etc. but i rarely run with boost. (if you think about all of the hours spent driving, really, only a couple of seconds are spent with boost.) i just like that it's available, if i need it. i'm thinking of switching back to the IK20. any thoughts?

sounds like a good set up but have you tuned your car with any air fuel ratio control advice? a untuned motor would kill the spark plug fast due to extreme lean and rich condition.
