knock sensors

knock sensors

i was wondering is it only people that have aftermarket sc installed that have knock sensor issues? Im assuming that if it was bought from the dealer already installed they wouldn't have knock sensor issues. is this correct or does everybody have knock sensor issues. im going to be sc pretty soon..but I'm just worried about knock sensors issues.

I think with a proper airfuel tunning will help you to prolong the sensor/engine life. Becaus i highly doubt the stock ecu is tunned for SC, or can remap it by it self according to your modification.

with 4psi, a SAFC should be good enough. If you want more percise, you can go with split second or E-manage

Chan, you and Milt should just get Jim's fuel kit. I can help you out, if you need it. :D

well you blow your knock sensor beacuse there were too much detonation and it killed it. so that means you need some tuning... Might be your timing is off ...

Hey GUYS make sure get new spaprk plugs befre you install it....it will it runs better and prevent miss fires

DENSO IK22 is great....

I'm s/c running stock boost, and my O2 Sensor was out in a few hours later. I've not had issue with knock sensor YET.
