Ok I hope I'm posting this in the right place, and I hope this is not a repost. Browsing around online I found this link below ... I really haven't tried it, and don't know how much of it is BS or if it would really work so I'll leave it up to you guys to decide or even try it. Enjoy!

Most of those minor mods hold water but I doubt how noticable they are in a "seat of your pants" dyno.

I've seen that the coolant throttle bypass works on a cool LS1 motor in a similar fashion (hp & torque curve). Does nothing for a heat soaked engine though.

One thing they didn't mention was wrapping your headers & y-pipe in high temp heat shielded exhaust tape. This helps exhaust scavenging and keeps engine bay cooler.

most of people here said #6 is useless, search for the coolant bypass. I highly doubt it will increase 10hp over B18B, maybe i should try it on my civic

LMAO at number 3. This mod is better accomplished with resistors to fake out the temp. I never really cared for that mod anyway.

PLEASE nobody do this on a Camry/Solara! Our Air Intake Temperature sensor is combined with our Mass Airflow Sensor as a hotwire. You pull that thing out and fill it with JB weld and I promise your car will NOT run. -JoeB

yeah... some people are idiots... the sensors are SENSORS which need input from the motor is running to keep it running...

msot of those make sense... but it's only useful if you are seriously bored... it's one of those "do it when you're actually working on this part of the car" tips... not a "go do it right now because it's worth it"

i wouldnt recommend that spark plug tightening trick on an aluminum engine. plus, in our v6's you cant see the plug since its way down in the head tube, not sure about i4's though.
