Anyone tried using a synthetic oil for supercharger?

I was digging around my spare parts box and found a brand new coupler that is used inside the nose cone of the supercharger. I was wondering, has anyone used a different type of oil than the one sent from Trdparts4u or atleast an equivalent?

There is motor oil, gear oil, supercharger oil. they are all different. you wouldn't use gear oil in your engine, just like you don;t use motor oil in your supercharger. You use Supercharger oil.

I use a synthetic S/C oil that my rebuild shop gave me, but I've also used the GM stuff.
