The return style fuel system will give me the ability to install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, so i can lower and raise fuel pressure. I plan on running a fairly large set of injectors on the stock ecu with an SAFC, the only way i am going to be able to do that is by lowering the base fuel pressure so the car will idle correctly, then i can ramp the fuel pressure back up as boost kicks in.

The M90 is a much better match for the 3.0 V6 Engine, a lot of my customers want to run 10+psi and make more than 300whp and its just not possible with the small TRD charger . I am planning on discharge temps with the M90 being 75 degrees cooler than the m62 at the same boost level. With a built motor and proper cooling , 400whp should be easy with this charger :)

No the charger is not going to be sticking out the hood lol, its funny that you posted a pic of that S/C SC400 i talked to that guy on the phone before about that blower kit he made for that car!

Untouched M90 on bottom, TRD charger on top you can see how much beefier the m90 is :)

Brand new TRD S/C on the left stock intake manifold on the right. The stock intake will be cut up and a portion of the lower runners will be used for the S/C manifold.

Honestly, this looks very promising 8)

Just a question though, at what price do you expect these kits to be when you are done? or is it to early to estimate?

Either way, GL with the fabrication.

Good info, thanks.

I have been looking for a TRD SC alternative. I have not had much luck finding one in good condition around NC. I like the trd becuase it is easy. However this M90 looks like a monster.

How do you plan on keeping the car flat in th corners if you ditch the strut bar?

good luck w/the mod, keep it all posted.

I am working very hard to make the trd strut tower brace clear, it just may not be possible to do the mass of the m90.

One of my first kits is actually going to NC to a mr2 guy :)

If this happens, you should go and call TRD for a job in the R&D department. :D

Question , would you guys be interested in retaining the stock throttle body or possibly using a larger TB from another toyota application?

I would personally want to retain the stock throttle body for simplicity sake but with such a large supercharger a bigger TB would be a better match. As long as the larger TB is easy to get then I would not mind.
