Trying, lol. I have a feleing it may be a leading cause in many cases. But not always the cause.

I will have to go check, its definitely a possibility. Might be a good idea to post a picture pointing out the check valve location, so guys know where to look. Good heads up!

What valve ?

The one you need to install for the s/c? (one way valve)
Driving without this valve is not possible because the rpm is going up in idle.

I have a other valve then the one you get with the s/c.

^I've driven with my valve removed with no problems.

However, my valve was installed when I blew my sensor.

which one do you mean - the one near the fuel rails or the one to the brake booster? i blew the sensors on my 95, and i did have both of these 1-ways installed, as per TRD instructions. but i was being stupid in the rain and hit the limiter in 2nd (auto) and i'm pretty sure that's what blew em.

what theory are you working on?
