Not bad. I think the *New Track* (done around 1995?) is 5 sec faster than the *OLD* configuration. Last time I ran Willow for time trail was in 1990. They widened the track around some of the turns...turn 1 and I think the exit of 9, which made it quicker. Never got a chance to run that set up  .

I don't think you can do 117 in third gear :-? .....6000RPM is around 90MPH. You will definitely need 4th!

BTW...I have a *TEST* for you and we can compare cars! Take your car out on a flat road with a STOP WATCH in hand. Floor it in THIRD at 3000RPM....then clock it (start/stop watch) from 4000-6000 RPM (60-90MPH). Let me know what TIMES you get. I've done this test numerous times to check mods made to my car. It's kind of an *IN CAR DYNO* of sorts.

od button on the shifter. 117 was 3rd gear at 6000 rpm.it's all she would do in 3rd.od=overdrive. :drinking:i tried the od once but it was to late . i was closing in to turn 1. it shifted, but not enough to make a differance. next time i'll hit the od button sooner and see what happens.i was hitting 90 and 95 entering turn 8 and still had throttle left.

its a 4 speed auto , 4th is od, and i never took mine out of 4th going into turn 8, went around 8 at 115 mph then let off when approaching 9 about 90-95 around that always in 4th , then down the front str8, never hit 5th gear anytime on the track........... :drinking:

I was at WOT in turn eight.....it takes a LOT of time to *get there* though...I spun out in that turn once :o . I would tap the breaks entering 9 and then slowly floor it exiting 9 at close to 110MPH. It's VERY easy to understeer there and go off on the OUTSIDE exiting 9. If you oversteer there or hit the breaks too hard your ass will come around and you spin off to the inside. I think that's what happened to you? It's very important to exit 9 at FULL throttle in order to gather speed down the front straight.

Oh the memories... :D

hey to get back on track, for those of you who has greg's sensor relocation block/adapter, where did you mount it?

Just got mine and has the bolt and everything but dont know where the best spot to pop it on to or where people usually have theirs.

Any pics would be good
