Supercharger alternator pivot bolt

It's a generic picture the Bolt is a M10 x 1.25 x 100mm countersunk Torx head grade 5 titanium. I have sent an email asking about the threaded section length 29-37mm is all we need.

Put me down..what the hell. Once you install that, no more worries. BTW, is there a Torx wrench available similar to a typical allen *L* wrench? It's very tight in that area. Might be a good idea to *kit* this with the wrench included, since Torx isn't an *off the shelf* item.

I had no problem using a 3/8 Allen socket to remove and measure the original TRD bolt. You have to take off the ratchet after a couple of turns because it will back itself against the A/C line.

Worth evey penny. This is a BEEEATCH part to find!!!! AND..you get a superior part to boot. It's great insurance as far as I'm concerned. $$$ means squat when you have stripped one that must be removed. Mine has been stripped for 10 yrs. I've replaced the belt by taking off the upper pulley, but if my alternator goes, I'm screwed. Fortunately, Toyota alternators are pretty bullit proof.

well if ur not going to get the ones im getting, atleast order just one bolt before hand and try it to see if the thread pitch is indeed the same and works.

Otherwise everyone is going to get bolts that dont fit, nice paper weight tho...titanium.

Do you have any idea on your ballpark price? it would make my decision a lot easier. The bolt is being sold with the specs M10 x 1.25 x 100mm countersunk Torx head. I would think a bolt manufacture would know the difference between fine and coarse. They have two separate parts numbers listed because they do offer a M10 x 1.50 x 100MM.

If the shoulder is right on that bolt, it WILL fit given the other specs. However it would be nice if they could send you ONE first..why wouldn't they? Even if you have to pay a couple $$ extra. Just ADD that to the overall cost of all the other bolts.

Ok..great. I think EVERYONE with an SC should have this bolt as a spare..it's a NO BRAINER. You can't GET these, especially this quality (read..no stripping)..... $40..whatever, is CHUMP CHANGE for this *insurance*. Anyone reading this with an SC should place an order. Once these are gone..good luck.
