i always preferred the gm knock sensor kit
those sensors have gone through 3 motors and not missed a beat



Uh... i guess therein lies the problem
they arent capable of sensing knock

Not sure why one would want to bypass knock sensors, but I hear the GM sensors are the way to go.

No, it just relocates it for an easier change. In the normal area, it takes, (knowing EXACTLY what your doing) like a minimum of 3-4 hours to change it. and often need to but new gaskets, 2 at $30 a pop. This turns it into a 2 minute job with no parts needed except another knock sensor.

When you're boosted, yes. Once they're relocated, there's typically not much issue with them.

I relocated mine after tearing into the engine a couple of times. I just wish I had relocated them the first time.
