Problem Running to lean, Fuel/O2 Ratio mix off

Postby nigglewires555 » Sat Sep 26, 2009 2:50 pm

I Just installed a supercharger and JP headers + Exhaust system. The Supercharger pulley is the stock one that came with it, so its nothing crazy.. The Problem I'm having is that the computer is not mixing the Fuel/o2 mix correctly and I had a guy at toyota hook it up to the computer, its reading 19% lean which he said it should be close to zero or under 5%. What should I do? Should i go with bigger fuel injectors? Will that help? What ones do I need? or Take the car to be dyno'd and see if they can tune the fuel/o2 ratio Without bigger fuel injectors. I want to try to keep the cost down on fixing the problem, running low on cash! If anyone could give me any suggestions, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Well the search function is free.

Otherwise you need an apexi neo or safc2 and fuel mod kit would help.

^yeah, you really should have some type of aftermarket tuning device installed. The JP headers alone will throw the AFR off.

Thanks everyone, I think i'm going to get the apexi neo to tune the air/fuel ratio after talking to a friend of mine, i guess he has one for a scion and works great. Hopefully that will work.
