I've never seen this particular article....interesting! They show 4.5Lbs boost here.

that must have been REAL early...cause they did play around with what boost to put the SC kit out with....

wow...good find. good to see some independent testing from back in the day.

And the numbers look pretty realistic for a 5-speed since the numbers are old and before they started correcting to sae numbers (usually around minus 5-10%).

haha, my friend gave me this issue of Turbo Magazine a year or two ago when I had my solara- pretty cool.

Interesting. The Original s/c kits came with a 3.2" pulley which makes 4.5psi

The later revised kits came with a 3.4" pulley which makes 3-4psi.

turns out that Gabe and I discovered I have one of the original SC setups with the first set of pulley's...pretty interesting
