CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Question...were you able to pull off those numbers on premium pump gas (93 octane) or were you using higher octane gas, like racing gas? Also, I was under the impression that our stock motors can withstand up to 6 psi and anything higher will eventually blow your motor. Please fill me in on the details of your setup and if its a safe setup for a stock motor. Thank you.

DOH! Got a bit excited in my "maiden voyage" to work on the Supra with the new T04z... spooled it up a bit too aggressively to blow past some ricer on the highway and as I shot past, I hear a loud POP!!! followed by an IMMEDIATE drop in boost and power... followed by a "scraping/dragging" sound! WAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! :-?

...fortunately, upon further inspection on the side of the road, I had simply BLOWN my intercooler hard pipe CLEAN OFF under the car and it was dragging/grinding on a T-clamp bolt head until I came to the stop! A few minutes with a wrench and a soiled shirt and slacks later, and I was OFFFF to the office back on the boost like a champ! :D

Damn! I thought the NEW TURBONETICS silicone couplers (HEAVY DUTY thickness, no less) with quality Turbonetics T-clamps would surely HOLD the boost in check... so I'll have to revisit my torque-age levels and hard-pipe affix method before getting TOO greedy with the pressure again! ...maybe later tonight... heh heh heh...
