My camry wagon supercharger install thread

This thread will coexist on TN (http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showt ... ?p=3520109) but I will start here with my SAFC install I finished today.

SAFC wired up to ECU. All wires correctly wired up and everything is working. RPM signal works great and so does the A/F reading. Throttle position is in the down arrow mode (At closed throttle 3v and at open throttle around .4V). Will be very useful when I'll put it on a dyno...
All thanks go to Eye8pussies and 2wickedtoyz and they're 94 camry's and the sticky made on TN (http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=232957)
Took me roughly 1 hour of hard work in the mud.... every wire was soldered and taped and for the MAF wire that was tapped, it was soldered and heat shrinked.

Here is a photo of install location. I think it's awesome since it's not in the way of anything and it really looks good with the reflective black tinted plexi.

I will update this thread with my supercharger install and all upcoming mods.

By the way, should I stay at 4psi or should I get a 5psi pulley? I'd obviously put the 5 psi pulley on just before the tune and change the injectors and fuel pressure regulator. (I have a 255lph TRE fuel pump)

Taurus lip installed! It looks awesome! Was not hard to install. I help it up in place centered with tape and then marked the lips holes with a marker. I then removed the lip and drilled holes in the bumper and used 1 inch bolts and 1/2 nuts to hold it all in place.

I'll get better pics up tomorrow.

Installed 255lph TRE fuel pump today and it's working great. Fuel trims (AFR) has staid the same and no leaks so FPR is working great for now. Will wait a bit for WOT test of AirFuelRatio. And also the pump install was so much easier in my gen3 camry than in the solara and gen4. No cutting and everything except filter, connector and pump is stock. No cutting, etc needed. Here's a pic of the assembly with new pump installed.

Supercharger install is in 10 days!!

I'll be going 4psi for a while and when I decide to tune it, I'll be installing 330cc injectors and the 6psi pulley you sold me. Anybody can tell me what whp I should be close to since I have an auto trans? I'd say close to 200 (190-200) at 4psi and 230+ at 6 tuned. I live in colder weather so numbers and boost should even see 4.5 psi.

This will be the same post as the one on Toyotanation.
------

Supercharger installed! Everything runs fine (no rattles, etc) and no Check Engine Light.
EGR was blocked with block-off plates and the whole of the system was taken away. I left the sensor loose in the engine compartment so no CEL.

All vacuum hoses fit perfectly, I don't know why so much people had problems with them... I followed the manual by the letter.
Even the idle speed is the same as before... My idle-up valve must be working....
No problem with bolts, etc. Everything came off fine and the install, except being very back wrenching and totally exhausting was very easy. Everything fits fine.

As for running impressions, power is amazing when the car gets over 4000rpm and the boost spikes at 5psi at 6200rpm. That may be because of the 12 degrees C or because my exhaust and intake is stock. No knock yet, but the knock sensors already triggered a CEL before being boosted so I will be relocating them as soon as possible.

As for Air Fuel Ratio I don't know what are normal ratios or if since my TPS is set to arrow down but I see close to 60 AFR with the SAFC at 6200rpm.... I don't think that's normal...
AFR at idle is the same and normal cruising is the same as before, I'd say a bit more prime.
More to come and pics too.
