Ok, I noticed this happening after I installed the plasma booster. Its hooked up correctly (at least I assume it is since all 3 lights are on, I followed the lexus wiring diagram that I found online) Ok...now about the video, yes it's hilarious but its the only video I knew about that sounded like it lol. But back on subject, pay attention to 1:39..thats exactly what my car is doing just before redline, but not all the time. I thought maybe it was ignition cut...its not. I do believe I'm getting fuel cut, but at lower rpm, or maybe thats just timing being pulled (both knock sensors are done) I have new knock sensors (gm) on the way, along with a new fuel filter and i'll also be putting in the ik22. So anyone got any ideas? Bad plasma booster?

Disconnect the plasma booster and see if the problem goes away.

Its definitely the plasma booster. Disconnected it and didn't have the problem during repeated WOT pulls

I have been doing research i cant seem to figure out how the plasma booster could cause this condition .

I don't know what else it be. Its not doing it at all now. I'm gonna try reconnecting it after the new knock sensors, plugs, wires, and re-wire the fic.

Ok I reconnected it and made of video of it. Listen to the exhaust note at 3 and 9 seconds. You can hear it like brbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbr. Lol at least thats how i think you would type it out. You can hear it better with earphones
Thanks, its exactly how he described in the first link, happens around 5k for me. Tried it out again today...ran fine. Im still waiting on parts before I go and replace the plugs and wires. If that doesn't fix it, I guess I'll replace the coils next

Well I think I got it...water injection and a combination of running stupid rich. After I re-tuned, the car decided to start dumping in a ton of extra fuel. I was at a solid 11.5 to 11.8 afr and now its dropping to 10.5 with the sputtering on the top end. So tomorrow I'm going to lean it out and try again since I didnt have a problem before the knock sensor code and being extra rich. I did a run with a wire disconnected from the pressure switch so the pump wouldn't come on and it ran fine...reconnected it and got the sputtering, disconnected it and it was good to go. Glad I figured it out because I was on the verge on spending some unnecessary money

OK.....so its NOT the meth kit. I ended up leaning out the afr, the connected the kit (100% water) it started sputtering, took out some more fuel and nothing. I switched to the smaller nozzle, it seemed to do it less, it was intermittent on the way to redline. I disconnected and right at 6k rpm it happened again. So now I'm just gonna stop trying to find the problem and just order some new coils and replace everything. What I dont understand is the lean condition when it happens. Im wondering if it could possibly be an injector. I might just order those too....

looks like it was a bad coil. Got the new set today and put them in and it was fine after multiple pulls with water/alcohol. Gonna put the big nozzle back in and tweak my alcohol map some more

Good to see that you figured it out.
