Well it's finally done first off I have to thank Gabe. Even though he was just the company selling it to me as a paying customer. Gabe goes far and beyond after delivery of the product. His knowledge of our cars is a valuable resource to this community and to me during my installation. He also set me up with some custom pieces that took a little longer but it was well worth the wait as the quality speaks for itself. I realize and I hope others do that GLP offers products and services to a very niche market that has been hit hard by the economy. Others like TRD and URD left us a long time ago and I'm happy GLP is here today.

Gabe warned me about the crappy 91 pisstane in California that I might need a fuel mod. The weather here has been in the 100's. I have a TRD 160 thermostat and the coolant temps have been around 175-185F. IAT's around 130F it likes to heat soak in traffic. On the freeway IAT's are around 10F over ambient. I cannot not even guess how much hotter it is after being compressed by the blower. I set a code P0330 front bank knock sensor but no lean codes. So I did the rewire at the knock sensor harness where it plugs into the main harness under the throttle body area. For insurance in the meantime I found a 76 station that has pump VP100 so I'm blending in 4 gallons to a full tank.

what you need is to run about 1000ml of water/meth, problem solved, unless you're one of those ladies that is trying
to get mpg's with 87 octane.

Your comment makes no sense. First of all even in stock form with a 10.5:1 ratio I was already running the best gasoline that I can buy 91 octane either Shell or Chevron. I'm not some broke dick running Arco 87 gas. I have a full grasp of the English language and I noticed in the installation instructions on page 20 in bold print "BE SURE TO USE 92 OR HIGHER OCTANE FUEL." Since MTBE was phased out many years ago the best we have now is 91 octane. Personally I would do an E85 conversion before I ran meth.

I agree with Greg that you should get a meth kit. I'm sure he was just making a joke and wasnt trying to make fun of u.

I ran 225ml nozzle of meth for awhile at 5.5lbs of boost. That worked pretty well. I bumped it up to 625ml recently. Greg has a lot more experience than I do so you should take his word over mine but I would recommend going with a 625ml nozzle if you're pushing under 6lbs of boost. At 625ml I already run through meth pretty quickly. It richens my AFR up about 3 points. I know this because when occasionally when I run out of meth my AFR goes lean from ~12.2:1 to around 15 or 16:1

And get an Injen short ram intake!!! You have a TRD supercharger, man!!! Get rid of that friggin air box.

I'll be getting rid of mine (along with a UPFD extension) around September. If u haven't gotten one by then I'll bug u about buying mine.

Welcome to the club! You can also run straight water for knock protection. That's what I run since I don't have a way to advance timing and can't get the full benefit of meth

It should only read about 1 point richer on meth. If you're running that lean at wot, that engine isnt going to last long

It makes perfect sense, thinking realistic water/meth is the best option, no matter what
boost level you run with the trd blower. The trd blower can safely run up to 5psi max
before heat becomes an issue regardless of what octane youre running. The key is to run
Higher octane and cooling. That's why the og sg ladies could never pass the 290whp with the
trd blower. i looked up e85 the true octane is 94-95,not worth the hassle for the octane you
you get.

one more thing, u need to run at least 94.2 octane at 6psi boost without meth, frank & bbq bob have proven this, fergie's blown his engine up at 51/2 psi not running 94 octane, if u want to mix tnen u need 6.5 gal of 100 octane to 11.5 gal of 91 to get 94.2 octane, if u run anything under this number u will damage your engine i guarantee it, us big hp guys have been there done that, just words of advice..

Gregs right, im in the process of getting a new engine and making it safer on meth. Plans are meth split second, 8PSI, and little random things to my engine. My motor is now blown, i decided to pop the hood today to check on things and found a disgusting sight. Blow by from my engine has incereased so much that ive built up enough pressure that oil is squirting through my oil cap. Well i found my intake, strut bar tranny, and the camber plate of my coilovers drenched in motor oil.
