supercharger installed check engine light on

Hi,

Just finished up the supercharger install, engine light is on, power is good when driving, but idle is struggling, its low and bouncing between 400-500. Thought maybe the IAC valve was backwards, but we flipped it and then the engine light was flashing non-stop and the poor idle continued. Any ideas?

We cut the line and inserted IAC valve as per the instructions, although the instructions never tell you to reconnect the line with the valve installed, we assumed that the line would be reconnected with the valve in, were we supposed to just leave it open with the valve hanging off the end?

Get some carb cleaner and check for vacuum leaks. When I installed mine there was an elbow on the bottom that wasn't shown on the diagram. Second time I pulled it off, the guy helping reinstall it put the throttle body gasket on sideways. Both problems made the idle rough.

use some rtv to help seal the egr leak

check the code that you're throwing as well- it'll probably be random lean codes, which point to a post-maf vacuum leak

I ended up getting a shop to re-thread the supercharger, everything's good now. Thanks for all for the advice.
