So I've recently come across an electric supercharger. Has anyone ever hear of one and would it really be beneficial to put one in? Just curious - thanks

there's a reason why you don't see electric superchargers anywhere other than ebay

google is your friend

that's what I was thinking. it seems like a good idea - and you'd think it'd be more popular and I'm guessing there's some reasons for that.

The only electric s/c that showed some promise was the thomas knight kits. But it has several drawbacks. IMO you'd be better off running a small shot of nitrous and get the same results. The junk on ebay is exactly that...junk. They produce less airflow than what most engines take in n/a.
