electric supercharger?

electric supercharger?

I was wondering if any of you have heard of anyone with this device, or something similar.
http://www.electricsupercharger.com/index.htm
It "seems" like it might work, if it can produce just a bit of additional airflow. Of course, as the unit draws about 750 watts of power, it needs to give you more than a 1H.P. increase just to overcome the additional electrical usage (1H.P. =746 watts). Does this sound like snake oil to you guys?
Maybe I ought to just figure out how to get some ram air pressure...

2000 SLEv6 TRD RSB on "track" (of course) Tokico's are in, Eibach springs are "available at the end of the month" (I hope)

haha... ah yes, that product likes to come out of hiding once in a while.

don't bother in getting this thing unless you like to dry your hair while using one of them.

What a joke!!! What's the purpose of moving a Duraflame log??? >wow, it pushes air, so I guess that means more/better airflow? Whenever I see a site with 'testimonials', I always laugh.

it may help on the low rpm's but it doesn't increase with speed so at higher rpm's it may restrict flow when u need it most.

I'm one of the "gen 2 guys" and I just found this posting...

For all you gen 1 & 1.5 guys, I know this electric blower thing IS a joke since you can get a real TRD S/C for your rides. But us gen 2 folks are hurtin' for AM & TRD parts so even this (most likely a piece of junk, oversized hair dryer) starts to look good to me when no one even makes a CAI for the '04 V6 yet, much less a S/C!
Still, I think I'd be too embarrassed to install this "electric hair dryer" in my car in the first place!

If I heard that noise coming from a car, I'd think it was in bad shape and about to blow up! It almost sounds like a drill.

Okay, now check out this electric blower they are trying to dump on the Scion crowd.
