I've seen people that have taken away the resonance boxes on their intake hose (those ugly big boxes hanging off the side of the hose). They put some sort of cap or plug in that hole.

My question is....have you seen this done and what would you use?

Ive seen it done on My friend's 4Runner intake... he used PVC Pipe plugs or caps... get them at Home Depot or Lowes

hi temp duct tape. it plugs it in, and still looks factory when smog time comes...just use strips and criscoss it to seal the hole on the resonator then reinstall and trim excess duct tape!
