Does anyone know of a website the sells aftermarket tail lights for an 06 solara convertible? I have found quite a few sites, but they only sell up to '03. Just want to change the look a bit.

Only ones I know of are the Gen 2.5 LED tails.

If you happen to type "aftermarket parts generation 2 solara" into Google and press enter, it would say "No results found" and "Did you mean: aftermarket parts generation 1 solara?"

Thats weird, its like the gen 2 doesnt exist.

How much are they from the stealership?

From your friendly neighborhood dealership's parts department Gen 2.5 tails will run a minimum of $150 apiece but online part stores have them as low as $120.

But remember that when you do switch out from Gen 2 to 2.5 tails you'll lose your backup lights (Gen 2.5's have their's in the bumper). Nothing like an idiot rear ending you or the law and state clawing all over you for not having them. And also if I remember correctly it is not a straight swap with the wiring (LED's use less power) so check a tutorial (http://www.solaraguy.com/viewtopic.php?t=27454) before buying.

black bob, you say these "online stores" have them for about 120... what online stores are you referring to..? I can't seem to find any and I've been searching on google... I've only found a few on ebay.. but most are damaged...

Besides from the gen 2.5 LED tail lights, the only other ones I've personally seen and have had in my possession were the gold plated ones, which are curretly on Tact's Sand Mica I4 Turbo Solara.
