PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs - REVIEW
I know PIAA makes some great AM headlight bulbs so I just did a side-by-side comparison between PIAA "Xtreme White" bulbs in the tail lights, high-mount stop light, and rear turn signals compared to the OEM bulbs in my Solara.
The bottom line is that they are NOT as bright as the OEM bulbs! I can only guess the blue-colored glass of the PIAA bulbs actually cuts down on their brightness (at least when the light must then pass through the colored lens of the tail lights, etc.)
About the only place the PIAA bulb was a slight improvement was in the dome light and license plate lights, so save your money and don’t bother with PIAA’s for these other applications.
