tire question about speed ratings

Not sure if the fit would be 100% good - sidewall buldge [ie tire being too wide for the disk] can be too significant.

H tires are harder rubber [read: cheaper] than V tire - you can verify this by comparing thread life indeces and warranties. Going to H tire will have following consequences...

The good:
- better tread wear.
- cheaper, usually almost 1/2 the cost
- [usually] softer, quieter ride, because tire is more "round" and has softer sidewalls.

The bad:
- worse handling because of soft, round sidewalls
- worse road grip because rubber is harder and doesnt heat up as much

If price is a big issue and you dont drive like a maniac [i do:)] go with H. If your driving is "spirited" or you have a genuine concern for handling [read: personal safety] and dont mind spending an extra buck, try W or Z rated tires - you'll never go back to anything below! :)
