Thanks Bro, I'll add that to the list now... Those are the ones I see all over eBay, but I hadn't posted them cuz I could never find a legit site.

Swindler: I'm posting this reply here because neither of the 'proper' threads will allow me to post - they BOTH say "Moderators Only" !!! (If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know...)

I am definitely interested in the possible group buy being considered for the non-drilled sensors! Just wanted you to know... thanks for all the work you're doing on this :D

Tacti, how did the intake thing go with the Camry and all, I'm excited to hear the results.

I have Injen Intake IS2025 installed first.
it is bolt on, and very easy to install.

for the cold air intake, i made a extension.
first i made a prototype using the heat duct for the dryer, and plastic intake bend from autozone.

once i found out the angle of the bend and length of the pipes, i went to the local welding shop, and made a custom pipe.

the battery has been moved slightly from the original place, so that i have access to the gap behind the head light.

please take a look at my homepage and you can see my prototype pipe as well.
if there are anyone who's interested, i can put the rough dimension of the extension pipe.

Hey, why not update and post recent parts...like PXLpainters Whiteline FSB install?

Sorry, I haven't been keepin tabs as much as I used to... If you all know parts that are missing post 'em and I'll add 'em!

I don't think I'll be adding "custom" stuff to this list (meaning if something "works" but has to be "adapted" or "customized" to fit or work properly in our Gen2s), as that stuff belongs in the Tutorials section with a write-up on "how to"...

Hey PXL, tell me about this Whiteline FSB! I checked out the site and found nothing for Solaras, only for Camrys. Interchangable?

Also, I believe there were some big brake kits available for our cars, anyone have any info?

Anything else I'm missing?

Thanks!

-James

I wouldn't rush into that just yet... there are some fitment issues I'm dealing with and working with Whiteline on them now...

Apparently, according to THEIR records, they've never MADE a Front Sway Bar for the Solara - so I suspect that Global Performance Products has mis-labeled the item from an older Camry model. :o

I'll keep you posted as to what we end up with.

Prodigy, don't get me wrong...your post was great. Just wondering if there was anything else coming up recently.

PXL, hope you can work the issue out with the FSB. Its a miracle you haven't run into any other problems other than the fitment issue.

I believe the model I have was listed for the Camry. Remember, there isn't any Solaras in Australia. But, I know that the 4th gen Camry and 1/1.5 gen Solara has many interchangable parts -especially with suspension. I don't know if things changed a bit with the 5th gen Camry and 2nd gen Solara...but I would've thought they be the same??? Maybe they haven't/never made one for the 5th gen?

Guys and Gals...

I just went into the TRD USA website and found that it had a bit more content than previous visits (usually under construction).

Anyway, I found a few things for my 2AZ-FE Solara:

PTR14-00000-04 TRD Oil Filter (2AZ-FE) (USA)
PTR14-00000-06 TRD Oil Filter (no engine desc. but says Solara) (USA)
PTR04-00000-13 TRD Oil Filter (Solara 4cyl 99-02) (JAPAN)
PTR04-00000-14 TRD Oil Filter (Solara V6 99-01) (JAPAN)
PTR04-00000-15 TRD Oil Filter (Solara V6 02-05) (JAPAN)

PTR15-21051-6 Performance Clutch for 2AZ-FE (04-06)

PTR04-00000-03 N-Type Radiator Cap 18.5 PSI (4 cyl)
PTR04-00000-01 S-Type Radiator Cap 18.5 PSI (99-01 V6)
PTR04-00000-02 S-Type Radiator Cap 21.3 PSI (99-01 V6)

PTR39-21070 LSD For Solara 2731 (I imagine it is for 4cyl)

I know there was a Thermostat too, but I can't find it...

Other stuff in teir too...check it out!..

Oh, since there was talk about StopTech brakes, does anybody know if there is a difference between the different Solara model brakes? How about Brembo Rotors for Gen2 and above?
