*** UPDATED PICS Pg 15!!

HEY!! New updates on 6/13/08: See Pg 25...

UPDATE 8-08:

YES - you can still get this deal directly from JP Performance - it's no longer a "Group Buy". Read the last few pages to see what I have experienced. I'm no longer able to keep testing this product or the electronics that Split Second provided.
NO - I don't have dyno numbers or any further info to give you... contact JP Performance for more info at: (714)754-6977 or jpperformance@sbcglobal.net

*ORIGINAL POST:

Hey guys - I know that group buys don't always work so well here, but I'm going to open this up to several forums to see if we can get a decent response collectively!

Here's the deal:

All stainless/TIG welded JP Headers and Y Pipe - $1400. (plus S/H)

(Original list removed)

Thanks B-man! :D

I'm posting at TN and TundraSolutions as well - even though most of the peeps there are also here - at least it might give us some exposure! ;)

I'm sure we'll have more Gen 2 guys interested in this - after all the bitching and complaining we've all done! (notice I said "we") ;)

Yeah - and I'm sure Michael T would LOVE to have the FRONT of his exhaust system as cool as the back side! ;)

Geez - either the Gen 2 guys are busy partying today (Spring break for all you kids?) - or they're asleep! :-?

I can't believe nobody's even interested in this yet! :o

Where's Sebas, Michael T, Down2theC, Milt and all you others that bitch about no Gen 2 support??

C'mon guys - this isn't just some goofy cosmetic CF part or ricer mod - it's a REAL performance part you can actually USE!!!

I take the day off...I wasn't in front of a computer for day long ! ;)

Do they have a website something to refer to ?? It's sure I'm interested in but I want to know more. The efficiency of an exhaust system is not easy to find...I just want ot be sure that their engineering skills are strong. :)

May we have an idea of the power gain on a stock V6 Gen 2 Solara ??

I'm half way in.

I want the headers, but I don't want the Y-pipe. I plan on getting custom exhaust work done with an X-pipe. I called JP about a year ago and asked them how much for just the headers and they said $1000. If you can include me without the Y-pipe and still get a discount, I'm in.

Hmm... I may have to go in debt for this.

Anyone think they'll have trouble reconfiguring their CP-e?

I think they already have headers for the Gen 1 and 1.5.

Let me see if I understand. You want to start a group buy for headers that cost $1400. and have the same 180 degree turn on the y pipe assembly that our standard exhaust system has which alot of guys want to get away from? I don't think thats progress of freeing up our engines so they can expel exhaust better enough for $1400. My non engineering opinion.

What are you talking about? When we get enough people together to show JP that we're not a bunch of wanna-bes, then they'll do the R&D and make it right. I was told the Y Pipe would NOT have the same toilet-bend that our OEM has, but be a straight-through Y Pipe.

Quick - there's a reason that I put this in the Gen 2 Aftermarket forum bro! ;)

Sorry. I didn't see which forum it was on when I clicked on it.

I feel like Rudolph and you won't let me play in your reindeer games.

Good luck with your GB.
