RSB Bolt Placement

Alright, i know i remember reading this somewhere but for the life of me i cant find the post that talks about it... I am installing my RSB tomorrow and i wanted to know which of the three bolt settings i should be using. I know i remember someone saying that the holes on the very end will yield little to no results, and that the innermost holes will tighten up the suspension and increase handling considerably. Which holes do you guys who have allredy installed your RSB's recommend?

I'm pretty sure 99% of the people here with the TRD RSB have it on the stiffest setting and that is what they'll recommend.

Yeah thats what i thought... and thats what i know tacti did cuz i looked at a pic of his RSB and thats where the bolts are.... thanks!

Gotta disagree. I started with middle setting and it's still a huge difference. But then I got used to it and wanted more stability. So yeah... jump to the end.

See and i started with the stiffest setting. On top of trd springs and 19 rims with rubber band tires. And while the stiffness was great, the potholes and sharp driveway entrances proced to much for me. So i had to go to the middle setting, and i must say it was a night and day differnece. Now the car doesn't bang when i hit potholes and it feels so much smoother. Yes i did give up some of the stiffness so the car does pitch a bit, but not realy as much as the factory setup does.

I'm also at the middle setup. I wonder how it feels like at the stiffest setup.

lol i felt more of a comfort difference with the trd springs than the rsb
go for the INNER setting!!!!

lol allright I put it in the first hole and i really feel the handeling difference... i took i to a big parking lot and just turned the wheel all the way and gassed it lol the back tires started to give way before the car started to lean hahahaha. While on a highway i turned the wheel back and fourth a bit and you could feel the front rocking while the back was like yeah w/e i'm gonna not move at all xD... Next step is lowering springs >.> i'll be doing that mid summer and i'm sure i'll be asking yall what shocks to get and whatnot lol.... Thanks for the input it was much appreciated!

I have the FSTB and RSB.

I may not be smarter thena 5th grader, but I'm not a pussy LOL

Mine is in the middle position. Has been since it was installed. I LIKE the smooth ride but also like the fact it handles better then stock. When I test drove a sport model it shock me pretty good. I've had sport suspension on other cars and while they handle great, they suck for cruising comfort.

With the FSB and middle position the car is balanced pretty good. Who knows I may be happier in the front hole, but enjoy the smoother ride with improved handling.
