are all 2az-fe motors the same? in particular the alternator?

I found that the highlander with the 2az-fe motor has a 130amp alternator
but will it bolt onto the solara 2az motor? It seems to make sense but does anyone have any info on it?

cheers

I really need an answer to this question ASAP. I know the V6 2MZ alternator bolts right on but I can not seem to find an answer specifically for the 2AZ V4. I've googled and searched the forum for 24 hours.

nope alternator isnt the same, the voltage regulator on the alt is diff, both in
size and configuration

I also found out that the alternator is specially wound isnt too fun to
work on, this info was from ohio alt.
