It's your car so kudos for doing what you want with it, but just for your information, Solaras were never produced in Japan. They were USDM only.

Actually the Solara's WERE "produced" in Japan....for the most part. But yes, they were *assembled* in the U.S.

No, the Gen 1s were built in Canada. Mine was. The engine and transmission were built in my state, West Virginia. Most Toyota drivetrains are made in WV. The Gen 2, was not built in Japan either.

only badge tuning I would do is to turn the toyota sign upside down like how Peach did it on his Camry... which makes it look like a dick........ :P

hey...my goal is to be unique...and theres not much available for this car...i think just modifying it at all is pretty unique...haha...keep an eye out for future posts...i have some ideas for fabricating some stuff...i think i'm doing ok for only having it a couple weeks...

day 1 = wheel/tire upg
day 2 = debadge
week 2 = jdm emblems
tonight = Eibach / KYB GR-2

i'll be toying around with some stuff this weekend....as long as the weather isn't too rough...
