get the headers made by JPP (JP performance) and do a full custom exhaust.

There are no specific turbo kits or superchargers for your car, you would have to go completely custom on Forced Induction.

^^For once I agree with the yadda, the Gen 2 Solara has so few aftermarket performance parts, it just makes more sense to build it up for "show" instead of "go".

*Why in the bloody hell would anyone trade a Solara with a V6 engine for a Solara with a I4 engine, turbocharged or not?

because the turboed one makes more power and probably can get better gas mileage
and could potentially have even more power in the future

Not without upgrading the transmission, that would cost thousands.

Forget about the gas milage, the new Chevy Camaro V6 is rated at 29mpg on the highway, same as my Solara I4, what does that tell you about the gas milage with the Solara I4?

Don't get me wrong, I love my Solara I4, but I am just stating the facts.

^^Mike T used nitrous on his Gen II V6 and the motor blew due to improper installation of the nitrous setup.

He then rebuilt in and redid the nitrous setup properly and he said it ran fine.

search up his nitrous thread on here, the guy listed everything that you need for a proper setup.

he already does more power than the v6 and pretty sure he could do a bit more without too many major upgrades

also whats the real world #s for the camero mpg wise
im just saying my g35 is rated at 26 highway and i can never really get anymore than 20
my solara on the other hand may be rated at 29 but i can easily get over 35

just because it says so on paper doesn't mean thats what you'll get

I was @ 233 whp and 249 tq untuned with an injen cai, n2o and jpp. Since then I've moved up to the cp-e with PXL's tune. AFR is still hella rich so once I tune and get my jets figured out I hopefully will have greater gains. See my link.

With the money you spend on trying to make this car faster your better buying a newer F/I car. I love my car for what it offers. I wouldn't mind getting into a G35 sedan or a STI. :)
